Suzanne Crump, M.Ed (Head Counselor)
Sue received her master’s degree in student personnel administration from the University of Delaware with a concentration in Career Counseling, and has a bachelor’s degree in English/Education from Gettysburg College. Previous work experience includes the Director of Career Services at Immaculata College (now University), and Program Administrator for the Greater Philadelphia Teacher Job Fair. She is also a former English teacher in secondary schools. Sue is a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church since 1992 and an elder since 1998.
Mary K. Field, M.S.S.
Mary received her Master of Social Service degree from the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research at Bryn Mawr College and has been a social
worker for Delaware Hospice. She is also trained in Gestalt Therapy. She has
used her listening and client counseling skills in group therapy situations, in
her work with patients in Hospice, as a Stephen Minister and as a counselor for
victims of domestic violence in Delaware's Family Court. Mary is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Douglas W. McPheeters, M.A., M.Div.
Doug is a Nationally Certified Counselor with a Masters degree in Community/ Clinical Counseling and has been in private practice for five years. As an ordained Presbyterian minister, he has worked with youth and their families in both church ministry and counseling settings for fifteen years. He has extensive experience in premarital and marriage counseling, bereavement and loss, anger management and domestic violence, as well as career counseling. Doug serves the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant part time in the area of pastoral care and visitation.
Merris Hollingsworth, Ph.D.
Merris earned her doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park, a master’s degree in counseling from Wake Forest University, and a bachelor’s degree in English from Davidson College. She is a licensed psychologist in Delaware and is board certified in counseling psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychologists (ABPP). She has been employed as a staff psychologist at the University of Delaware’s Center for Counseling and Student Development since 2000 and currently serves as an assistant director of the Counseling Center and coordinates predoctoral internship training. Merris also is an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Individual and Family Studies at the University of Delaware. Merris has been a member of West Presbyterian Church since 2000 and was ordained as an elder in 2002.
Barbara Price-Martin, M.Div.
Barbara has been a pastoral counselor in private practice since 1991. She is
a (certified) Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and an
ordained Presbyterian minister. She holds a B.A. from Westminster College
and a Masters of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. Barbara is
currently an associate pastor at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Wilmington,
Delaware.
